MSP31.1

This will cover 30 May 2014 to 08 Aug 2014 (PP7730 to PP739), orbits 2175 to 2205. The times of the manoeuvres are given on the main JSOC MSP web page http://www.jsoc.rl.ac.uk/msp/. ESOC has requested that WEC be switched OFF during the manoeuvre periods, on 19 May, 26 May, 6 June.

Draft (and template) Bryant plots for June, July and August are attached, and the single BM2 sessions requested. There are some conflicts to be resolved between WBD and BM1, and there may be a few more BM1 sessions included (for the Inner Magnetosphere, Ring Current) in the final version of MSP31.1. The D0 periods have not been allocated yet, this waits for the final decisions on BM1 and BM2 periods. There are some BM1 sessions coordinating with Themis and one with Artemis. NM1 mode will be executed with SWARM opportunities.

The Bryant plots are also available on the JSOC web page (http://www.jsoc.rl.ac.uk/msp/), and the ascii listing is there too.

The updated plots and the declared D0 periods are added as attachments, and the plots (and updated ascii listing) are available on the JSOC msp web page. No new IM/ring current opportunities were identified, the 1 July opportunity was the best one. PEACE calibration BM1 sessions were added in orbits 2175 and 2189.

An apogee BM3 was moved to allow the D0 period on 2/3 June to move further away from the inbound MP, and the D0 period on 20/21 June was shortened to allow more time in NM1 mode before the predicted inbound MP. An extra (short) D0 period was restored on 14 June to balance the data fill.

The final Bryant plots and D0 periods were added as attachments on 26 April. The Bryant plots and the ascii listing are accessible on the JSOC MSP web page.

15 May: Single SC BM2 sessions have been updated in the database, to include C3 instead of C2 on 24 June, C3 instead of C1 on 3 July, and C3 instead of C1 on 10 July - see the new attachment for more details.

28 May: Single SC BM2 sessions updated and D0 session on 24 July.

4 June: Single SC BM2 sessions updated on 28 July and 6 August.
