This segment covers the period from 03 December 2021 to 19 March 2022(before and including majority of the long eclipses season 2021) and has 140% data volume as a baseline. For the eclipse season the payload will be off, the dates are: * C1: 26/02/2022 06:00 - 29/03/2022 10:00 * C2: 24/02/2022 00:00 - 31/03/2022 10:00 * C34: 26/02/2022 06:00 - 22/03/2022 16:00 There is no moon eclipses during this segment. There will be manoeuvres 10/02/2022 on C134, on 17/02/2022 on C1234, on 24/02/2022 on C3, the full list of manoeuvres for this period is included here http://jsocwiki.rl.ac.uk/attachment/wiki/WikiStart/manoeuvres_mar2021_apr2022.pdf. Cluster crosses the predicted bow shock from: C2 - 24/12/2021, C1 - 26/12/2021, C34 - 04/01/2022. The main science targets are the magnetopause, bow shock, magnetosheath, conjunctions between Cluster with MMS and/or THEMIS, and hiss origin. The primary science target is magnetosheath high-speed plasma jets. The BM1 data for the PEACE/WHISPER cross-calibration in the magnetosheath also will be collected. Special operations for two BM1 intervals with good conjunctions between Cluster, MMS and THEMIS during eclipse season are also planned. ** Manoeuvres plan, manoeuvres_mar2021_apr2022.pdf, was updated in October 2021, with originally planned slew manoeuvres on 09/02/2022 on SC134 being moved to 10/02/2022 to accommodate good triple conjunction between Cluster, THEMIS and MMS. ** The MSP46.1 segment science planning was updated on 26/10/2021 to maximize triple conjunctions between Cluster, THEMIS and MMS for the studies of the magnetosheath high-speed plasma jets. The changes are reflected in the tables marked by version 1, *v1* in the file name, and in the Bryant plots with the MSP version 4611, v4611. ** Science planning for orbit 3415 (PP1110) was changed on 09/12/2021, with BM2 mode reduction by 5 mins: 04/02/2022 09:15-10:10 BM2 for the equatorial chorus, reflected in the attached 4SC BM2 table with *v3* in the name. *** Science planning for the last PP of the segment, PP1113, orbits 3422-3434, was changed on 21/12/2021 to reflect the start dates for the eclipse season issued by ESOC and changes in the BM1 mode operations during eclipse season. Attached files *byorbit*v3* and *4SC_BM1*v3* reflect the changes.
