MSP37.1

This segment covers the period from 29 April 2017 to 15 July 2017, and the magnetopause boundaries are visible throughout May and the first half of June. There are manoeuvres on 29 May (C1,C2,C3,C4) and 11 June (C1,C2,C3). There may be two opportunities for joint observations with MMS at the start of May. The template Bryant plots are attached to this page (except for April, which is attached to MSP36.2), and are accessible on the Cluster JSOC MSP webpage.

16 Feb: The draft Bryant plots and the draft 'by-orbit' analysis are attached. The Burst Mode timings are not precise because I had a low time resolution set of events (they will be updated next week), but they indicate which orbits will be used for which activities. The AKR activities on C2 and C4 in orbits 2653, 2660, and 2664, will be entered as single SC periods, with each BM2 period lasting 2.5h. Orbits 2650 and 2651 are reserved for observations in conjunction with MMS around the outbound magnetopause boundary.

27 Feb: The 'final' version of MSP37.1 is now available with full time-resolution Bryant plots attached. The Burst Mode timings are updated, and the single SC BM2 request timings for AKR are attached. The by-orbit analysis is given, and the 4SC burst mode periods, and the D0 periods are attached.
