This segment covers the period from 06 September 2019 until 05 December 2019 (after the eclipse season) and has 130% data volume. This segment includes a moon eclipse on C2 on 28/09/2019, time of the eclipse 19:07-19:27, the payload off time is tbd; and a moon eclipse on C1 on 27/11/2019, time of the eclipse 22:03-22:53, the payload off time is tbd.

The primary BM1 science target at the start is the neutral sheet crossings centred on C3/C4 with C1 and C2 being in the opposite lobes, followed by the magnetopause crossings from mid-November.
