This segment covers the period from 06 December 2020 to 18 March 2021 (before and including the short eclipse season 2021) and has 135-140% data volume as a baseline. 

For the eclipse season the payload will be off, preliminary dates are: SC1: 24/02/2021 10:00 - 21/03/2021 12:00; SC2: 22/02/2021 05:30 - 23/03/2021 17:00; SC3 & S4: 24/02/2021 10:00 - 19/03/2021 04:00 

There are no manoeuvres during this MSP segment. 

Preliminary main science targets are the ECS GI programme on Cluster/MMS conjunctions at the magnetopause, high-latitude northern cusp, magnetopause, and bow shock. The BM1 data for the PEACE/WHISPER cross-calibration in the magnetosheath also will be collected.
