MSP32.3

This covers PP769 to PP780, orbits 2299 to 2335 (7 March to 29 May). There are manoeuvres during MSP32.3, the JSOC website has the details (http://www.jsoc.rl.ac.uk/msp/). There is a Moon eclipse on 19 April for all 4 SC. The GI Burgess requests will be executed during this segment and short BM1 sessions for the GI Alexandrova request. The data fill for MSP32.3 is planned to be 105%.

The Bryant plot templates for March, April and May are attached, and the draft plots..

The final MSP32.3 is now available - the deadlines were a little overambitious for the Christmas period, so the review deadline was delayed until 7 Jan. There are short 1h BM1 requests in the solar wind for the GI Alexandrova proposal and a 3h magnetopause BM1 session. There is 1h of BM2 around the manoeuvre on 17 March on C1 when WEC and FGM will stay on, for the GI Burgess proposal. GI Burgess requests will be executed (with WEC and FGM operating) during the manoeuvres on 9 March (C1, C3, C4 is on as normal because there is no manoeuvre on C4), 17 March (C1), 25 March (C1, C3, C4). The Moon eclipse on 19 April affects all SC but C2 remains on with TX off, so there can be no WBD operations (see the JSOC web page for details of the PL OFF periods: http://www.jsoc.rl.ac.uk/msp/). There are several 3h magnetopause BM1 sessions. The list of D0 periods is also attached, and several apogee BM3 periods were moved earlier to make room for the D0 periods (and the time shifts are listed). The final Bryant plots for MSP32.3 are attached and a list of the BM2 periods for the GI Burgess requests.

There are also some 2h BM2 sessions allocated around the outbound MP or BS boundary. A list of these is attached.

Orbit 2318 and 2328: the 3h BM1 around the inbound Magnetopause has been replaced by BM1 around the inbound Bow Shock and the final Bryant plots for April and May updated.
