This segment covers the period from 10 September 2021 - 3 December 2021(after the long eclipse season 2021 and has 130% data volume as a baseline.

For the eclipse season the payload will be off, the dates are:

• C1: 08/09/2021 12:00 - 18/09/2021 12:00
• C2: 08/09/2021 12:00 - 16/09/2021 12:00
• C34: 06/09/2021 06:00 - 14/09/2021 12:00

There are no moon eclipses during this segment.

Cluster crosses the predicted neutral sheet: C12 - 08/11/2021, C34 - 06/11/2021.

Cluster crosses the predicted magnetopause from: C1 - 14/11/2021, C2 - 16/11/2021, C34 - 23/11/2021.

The main science targets are the neutral sheet, the Cluster conjunctions with MMS and/or THEMIS in the plasma sheet, skimming magnetopause, Cluster conjunctions with MMS and/or THEMIS at the magnetopause and inside the magnetosheath, Cluster-Solar Orbiter conjunctions at the magnetopause for BM1 and the hiss origin, equatorial chorus, dayside outer zone chorus, norhern AKR and plasma sheet boundary layer for BM2.

There are no single spacecraft BM1 and BM2 operations during this segment.

Science planning for the MSP45.2 was changed on 16/07/2021 after the initial release to reflect the data volume reduction to 130% instead of anticipated 140%. Initially released attachment files with science planning information and Bryant plots have been deleted and replaced with new files reflecting 130% data volume.

Science planning for the last orbit of segment, orbit 3387, has been changed on 23/09/2021 to include one BM2 interval for the dayside outer zone chorus (reflected by *v3* in the attached files).
